Sasha Lardie, VP board member
My advocacy started from an early age, when I realized things happened in this world that could benefit one and hurt another simultaneously. This passion to help however I could, gave me the drive to seek out non-profits throughout my college and professional careers to volunteer with and learn from. My professional experiences expanded in event management, marketing, strategic communications, research and development and media relations. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, with a focus in media literacy and social justice.
I chose to volunteer for OPS and become a board member after learning about the sex-trade industry and felt strongly and passionately about making a difference any way I could. Learning and sharing information with those in my spaces, I am grateful to the staff and board members at OPS for sharing their stories and healing journeys. I am proud to be a small part of this space of change.
